NJ SORA (Security Officer Registration Act) recertification requires completing an 8-hour refresher training course from a licensed SORA Instructor.  Every two years (for unarmed) or annually (for armed). Renewals must be submitted up to 90 days prior to expiration via the NJ State Police website. 
 
Deadline: Complete the process before your current license expires to avoid lapses. 
 
Classes: Monday thru Friday (9am-5pm)
